Walking quietly through the forest of found & collected objects that was my father's studio, I learned from him the wonderful lesson that all earthly things hold magic; they have potential to become something entirely different through imagination. My mother showed me the metamorphosis of an object through thoughtfulness. A person's artistic voice and personal composition can turn even the simplest act into something precious; a treasure that can be gifted to another or kept for one’s own as a point of self reflection. For me the driving forces of art will always be those two- otherworldly expressions communicating from the mysterious depths of our minds and cherished memories captured in creation.
